The Letter "W" - an interesting observation from my son

Saturday afternoon we were running errands after my son's indoor soccer game. As we were headed home, we got stopped at a red light. My son looked at the street sign - Wells Branch Parkway. Then he asked "why is a w called double u"? And then he said, "It should be called double v". Hmm. Maybe he's right.

I love it when kids question what should be obvious to all of us. We are too accepting of things. I think it's refreshing to hear that your son uses logic. Good job!

I have often wondered that too....I think he Roman "u" was like our "v" perhaps.

I hope your back is feeling better...I haven't run in a few weeks but I have been riding my bike and made it up the BIG hill 2x now without stopping :)

That is so cute...I never thought if it myself. I love kids and their questions.
Thanks so much for your advice on my bike butt. I rode today nearly 10 miles and being only my 3rd day, my rear is getting used to it and I had no problem.
thanks!!!!

Oh wow! I just looked up The Bachelor on ABC's site. Looks like your favorite Jason will be back every episode! See? It pays to lose sometimes.
I can't wait to see it. I wonder how hard it must be leaving his son again, but then there must be quite a bit of money and perks.
